We support and volunteer with New Life Family Services and First Care Pregnancy Center, which exist to honor the sanctity of human life by assisting clients with life-affirming decisions with the love and compassion of Christ and provide adoption services, pregnancy help, and post-abortion healing.

Girl Scouts of America

Girl Scout Troop 57260 Brownies meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 6:30 pm.

Tubman

For more than 40 years, Tubman has helped women, men, children and families struggling with relationship violence, substance abuse, mental health, and other forms of trauma. Throughout the Twin Cities, Tubman provides safe shelter, legal services, counseling, elder care resources, youth programming, and community education.

Tubman is the state’s largest provider of domestic violence services, with more than 20 percent of all Minnesota shelter beds for adults and children experiencing family violence.

Project Linus

club linus feb 2011We host a local chapter of the national Project Linus movement. Our chapter gathers over 3,000 handmade blankets per year, inspects them, labels and sorts for delivery to Minneapolis/St. Paul Children’s Hospitals and Sharing & Caring Hands. Project Linus participants typically meet on the fourth Saturday of the month, 9:00 am – 1:30 pm.

 

 

Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce

oacclogoWe are a member of the Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce. The OACC strives to connect the local businesses within the eastern suburbs of the Twin Cities to the community with the goals of expanding business while supporting the people who support our businesses. The association also provides support and scholarship to our local schools and students, assists in community building events, and participates in Holiday Helping Hand.
